Get away from the heat this summer and take in a musical at Desert Stage Theatre. From July 10 to August 9, the Scottsdale venue is running a live production of the rock musical "Hair" every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Set in the 1960s, this groovy, groundbreaking production is based off the original musical, which debuted in 1967 and defined the genre of "rock musical." With a book and lyrics by James Rado and Gerome Ragni and music by Galt MacDermot, it is a must-see for theater fans residing in the Phoenix area.
