Although Honda just announced that the Insight Hybrid will no longer be around after the current model year, that doesn’t mean their commitment to producing affordable hybrid cars has wavered. In fact, the automaker has plans to expand their hybrid offerings over the next four years in an effort to improve their hybrid models’ abilities and give customers exactly what they need in an eco-friendly vehicle. The increased focus on hybrid technologies will bring changes to the Honda’s alternative-vehicle lineup and benefit both buyers and the brand in the long run.
